CEO Guidelines:

* CEO meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the Kalamata's, 330 Franklin Road (in Kroger shopping center) in Brentwood, TN 37027

* Dues are paid quarterly ($50.00 per member) and MUST be paid by the 10th of the second month of each new quarter, or may be subject to termination of membership. If they still wish to join CEO, they must resubmit an application for review along with dues for that quarter. If a new member joins during the middle of a quarter, the dues for that quarter only, would be $25.00.

* Only business owners and commissioned sales people whose commission is at least 50% of their income is eligible for membership. If someone is an employee of a business, they are not eligible for membership in CEO.

* Members are allowed (4) four absences within a quarter. Absences are excused if a 24 hour notice is given to the Secretary prior to each meeting. Failure to give proper notice of absence will be recorded as unexcused. Any member with (4) four absences within a quarter will be notified of their membership revocation. CEO tries to be lenient with attendance, but all members are strongly encouraged to attend all meetings.

* Members who do not attend at least 30 minutes of each meeting and have not called in advance to notify someone that they will be late, will have an unexcused absence for that meeting. Also if a member is 30 minutes late they will be counted as absent.

* Medical Leave Policy: If a member of CEO needs an excused extended absence for medical reasons, they need to notify the Membership Committee Chair of the need for medical leave and they will be granted (3) three consecutive excused absences. If more than (3) three absences are needed, the member is responsible for calling the Membership Committee Chair and notifying them for any absences beyond the allowed three. CEO Leadership reserves the right to approve or deny the additional absent request beyond the (3) three that are granted.

* CEO Members Represent One Business Only: If a member wants to represent a different industry other than the industry they currently represent, they must reapply for the new spot and relinquish their former seat and quarterly dues. New dues submitted for the new position would apply according to above.

* Entrepreneurs with more than (1) one business can only promote the business under which they applied and have membership committee approval.

* Invited Guests: Guests may represent only businesses or industries not currently represented in CEO. Members are encouraged to invite guests who will enhance the scope of member opportunities to network.

* Returned Check Policy: If a member of CEO writes a check that is returned, they have 48 hours to remedy the problem and pay any extra bank fees that the group may incur as a result of the insufficient funds. If problem is not resolved within 48 hours, the member will lose his/her membership to CEO. If a member has any subsequent returned checks, they will automatically lose their membership immediately.

* Membership is capped at 25.
